This is the first song I've heard from James. I remember that night, I switched on my old radio and was getting ready to sleep. The DJ was running a music theme which featured breakup songs, and I was drifting off to sleep when I heard this song.
Needless to say, James's unique voice pierced through my heart, and the sad words resonated deeply with me. At that time, my ex wanted to breakup with me but I was still holding on. For a number of years since then, every time I listened to this song, my throat would tighten and my eyes well up.
The last time I heard this song, I was in a concert hall and James was playing the piano. It was a luxury to listen to James's live performance. It brought back memories, but I was glad that I was able to enjoy it with a calm heart.
