This version of Only You is performed by Mary Steenburgen in a scene in the movie Last Vegas. I think this is the best part of the movie... I have (we all have) heard this song numerous times, and I never thought it can be sung like that... so tender, so feminine, so seducing.
At 60 years old, Mary Steenburgen just found out recently that she can sing. In 2007, she had a minor surgery and she was under anesthesia. When she woke up, music started playing in her head and she "couldn't turn it off". She picked up music since then, and began writing songs. In October 2013, she signed a contract with Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter.
Life is made of infinite possibilities!
